We are looking for an HTML5/CSS3 front-end guru with a solid foundation in web standards. You must possess a passion for what you do – excellent, standards compliant, cross browser front end development. Your ability to work with designers and developers using your clear and friendly communication skills is key.
You will need to have:
• A minimum of 4 years experience in a high quality front end web development environment
• Some major URLs in your portfolio with significant demonstrable contribution from yourself
• Highly experienced in hand-coding websites / web applications using HTML5 and CSS3
• Using table-less layouts for websites and mobile applications, compliant with W3C standards
• Experienced in coding cross-browser-compatible websites. (Including Firefox, IE, Opera, Safari, Chrome)
• Experienced in Responsive web development
• Very good knowledge of Object Oriented JavaScript, using frameworks and libraries like JQuery / Mootools, Prototype, SenchaTouch
• Knowledge of working with CSS libraries like LESS and SASS
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator
Nice to have’s:
• Knowledge of Javascript MVC frameworks like BackboneJS, KnockOutJS, etc
• Experienced with AJAX, Google APIs, eBay APIs, Facebook API
• Knowledge of .NET platform (C#) and PHP 4/5 (both Object Orientated and Procedural)
• Knowledge of coding mobile compatible websites. (iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry)
• Experienced in using source code control – SVN, Git
• Knowledge of popular CMS applications (WordPress, Joomla etc)
This role is all about creating quality front end deliverables. You will work with designers (in-house and external) to turn a creative deliverable into a web standards compliant, responsive designs / functionality.
